Dear Friends,
Wayne and I started this year with the determination to enjoy 2019 with plans for travel, visiting family and friends, and simply spending more time together. Thus far this year, we’ve taken a month-long trip down the coast of Argentina to the Falkland Islands, to Antarctica. Yes, Antarctica! Then onto Patagonia and up the coast of Chili to Santiago. It was the adventure of a lifetime.
We’re staying close to home for the rest of the year, although we have something planned just for us each month. For April we’re headed to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho for their Food and Wine Festival. Just for us is the key, the health and feeding of our marriage. Laughing, sharing wine on our patio and watching the sun set. Wayne will tell you that he’s the most unromantic guy in the world and but I admit, he has his moments. Those special moments when he smiles at me and I fall in love with him all over again.
It isn’t only a marriage that requires maintenance. All relationships do. This is my challenge to you this month. Who can you show love to in April? Who can you do something for that’s just for the two of you?
