The scent is already in the air. I inhaled it midway through September. Autumn. The colors of the season, yellow, brown, and orange explode around me. While every season has it delights, autumn is perhaps my favorite. One of my most cherished family photos is of Wayne and me with our four little ones surrounded by fallen leaves and overcast skies. It’s a reminder of the passage of time. This photo was taken years ago—our children are adults now—and yet the memory remains fresh in my mind. Seasons change with the year, and in our lives as well. Every season, whether in the year, or in our lives is one to be celebrated.
