November is the month of gratitude, a month to count our many blessings, even in the year in which we’ve faced a pandemic. For a long while now, I’ve maintained an office away from my home. Many of my author friends longed to earn enough with their writing to leave their jobs and work from home. When I first started selling my books, I was a stay-at-home mother with four young children. Unlike my friends, I wanted to get out in the world. My first office was little bigger than a closet, but it was my space. This year, out of necessity, I’ve moved back to my home office, and I’ve come to love writing from home once again. Gratitude...for the unexpected surprises. Let us all count our blessings. Even in the worst of times, we can find a way.
