Do you smell it? Take a moment, close your eyes and breathe it in. That’s the aroma of autumn. The pungent scent of the earth at its most colorful time of year. The trees in our area are every shade of brown, yellow, orange, and green. A kaleidoscope of beauty as Mother Nature reveals her artistic ability.
November is the month when most of us hunker down and start thinking about the upcoming holidays. Before we know it, Thanksgiving will be upon us, quickly followed by Christmas. How quickly the days pass.
Now that my garden has been harvested, and the fruit canned, I’m baking up a storm. Scones, cakes, breads, preparing for visits from family and friends. How thankful I am for each one. My heart is full, and I wish the same for you, this attitude of gratitude.
