This last month was full of fun events, including an appearance on Hallmark Channel’s Home & Family show with my grandson, Isaiah. I’m rightly proud of our grandson and his caring heart for the children of Rwanda. If you couldn’t catch the show, here’s a link to the segment: view here.
I have to say, as I watch the clip again, it’s always fun to be on TV, but I look much thinner on radio. Then later in the month, Wayne and I drove to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, for the Food and Wine Festival. Enough said. I’ve always enjoyed great food especially when it’s paired with outstanding wine.
May will be equally busy with Mother’s Day and several family birthdays. I will be attending Vogue Knitting Live in Santa Barbara, CA, with my daughter, Adele. If you’re anywhere close and interested, it’s going to be a fabulous time and I’d love to have you join me. One can never have too much yarn—at least that’s what I tell Wayne.
From there, I’ll be flying to Arizona to visit our daughter, Jody, who is moving there with her husband, Greg. Yes, Jody Rose is flying the coop. It will a be a special time to connect with good friends, too. Following that visit, Wayne and I are taking a few days for ourselves and visiting Walla Walla, WA for a wine tour.
