When I think of March, the first thing that comes to mind are wind and rain, at least that’s the case here in the Pacific Northwest. Yesterday Wayne and I watched two eagles circle overhead, squawking in a mating ritual that left us in awe of these majestic birds. Being that my maiden name is the German word for eagle, we had a craftsman carve an eagle for the front of our property.
When we placed the carved eagle there, the two eagles who have a nest in a nearby tree circled overhead checking it out. Wind, rain, eagles all remind me to take heart, spring is right around the corner.
