Don’t you just love June? I’ve always viewed it as the lead-in month to summer and sunshine, lazy afternoons, sipping iced tea while lounging on the back patio, soaking in the sun.
Later in the month, Wayne and I are heading to California in the RV. We’ve only taken it out for short trips so this should be a real adventure. As you’ll remember the first time we went exploring, it took us three days to decide to stay married. Thankfully, we’re a bit more experienced this time around. I’ll be the first to admit I’m no Laura Ingalls Wilder. Roughing it includes two slide-outs and something that goes flush in the night.
I’ll be home in time to catch up with a bit of writing before my brother (yes, the very one who copied and sold my diary!) and sister-in-law arrive for the 4th of July. Until then, enjoy the sunshine, lounge with a good book and an iced drink and let someone else man the barbecue.

I have began a new Knit One Bless Two campaign. Over the years with the help of my readers we have impacted the lives of several hundred thousand children around the world, who felt warmth, comfort and love from hand knit or crocheted items. One of the hardest logistical parts of this campaign is funding for shipping around the world.
