God Bless America! This is Wayne’s and my prayer as we get ready to celebrate the birth of our country. We have a fun weekend planned with our family here on Hood Canal. In addition to the traditional barbecue, we’ll enjoy an abundance of clams and oysters that dot our property. Later we’ll have fresh blueberries, cold watermelon, and sit around the fire pit to munch on some s'mores.
And as the evening rolls around and fireworks light up the night sky, we will proudly wave the American flag, sing patriotic songs, and thank God for all His blessings. Wherever you are or whatever your plans for the holiday, remember to count your blessings. Remember we live in the land of the free because of the brave.
