It’s raining, which isn’t that unusual for February in the Pacific Northwest. When I say it’s raining, I mean it’s seven inches in twenty-four hours, flooding in the low-lands kind of rain. Sheets and sheets of rain. I find that a bit amusing seeing that the book I’m currently writing takes place in the Amazon Rain Forest. Fiction imitating life? So when this book is released later this year, you will remember that much of what I penned about the deluge of rain will sound so very real, because it is.
