Happy August! The sun is out and it’s hot. That’s summer for you, and while it might sound like I’m complaining, I’m actually enjoying these days of sunshine and blue skies. This is plotting time for me. Thinking about the stories I will soon write, mulling over ideas, and tossing them around in my mind. Creating characters and their stories is what I love most about the opportunity to write. With a paper and pen, I’ll be spending time in my happy place by the waters of Hood Canal. When I’m not sitting at my computer, I’m tending my thriving but much smaller garden. I picked my first zucchini today; the first of what is sure to be many. I hope you’re enjoying these lazy, hazy days of summer and your garden is full of fresh goodness.
Warmly,
